THE PROBLEM
Elaine Cleaning Services is a cleaning company in South London offering domestic and commercial cleaning services.
Elaine, the owner, is a long-term client, who occasionally asks me to make changes to her Wix website. One day she came to me for advice and asked how she could drive greater traffic to her website and get more leads. She had a tiny budget and so I recommended she try search engine advertising through a cost-effective Google paid ads campaign.
I wanted to set something up, that if necessary could keep running with a minimal ongoing Google advertising cost.
WHAT I DID
When you’re creating Google ads, there are various paths you can take. A Google Smart Campaign is the easiest Google ads campaign to set up and run, especially for small business owners who don’t have much time or money. Clients who have bigger budgets to invest in campaigns that can be monitored and optimised on an ongoing basis might choose a different route.
I focused on selecting the best keywords, writing simple but compelling ad copy and choosing the right target audience.
For the first month I also had the budget to check and tweak any negative keywords.
