social media marketing

I offer social media marketing services for small businesses.

Social media marketing is an essential (often free) way for companies to:

  • drive awareness of their brands to new audiences
  • build relationships with interested parties and keep them engaged
  • motivate customers to buy from the brand again and again
  • build trust and credibility with customers and search engines

Even though organic reach on social media is tougher than it used to be, and people are using social media differently than they once were, a brand’s presence on social media is important not just for potential customers, but also for key people like journalists and influencers who rely on these platforms.

As a small business marketing consultant, social media marketing is very much part of my toolkit, and I am currently helping several brands manage their social media.

What Social Media Platform Should I Be On?

This is very dependent on what type of business you’re in, what you’re selling and who you’re selling it to.

Just because one of your friends, or another business you know, is using Facebook or Twitter, does not mean that these platforms are right for your brand. Or that you should be spending all of your time trying to juggle multiple platforms at once.

As an example, LinkedIn might be well-suited to you if you are in the B2B market selling coaching services. However, TikTok might be a better “weapon of choice” if you’re marketing a fashion brand targeted at Generation Z.

Social Media Advertising

Social media ads are brilliant for small businesses because you can target the exact right audience and get in front of them quickly. The platforms’ AI helps match your ads to the people most likely to be interested, so even with a sensible budget you can drive enquiries, bookings or footfall faster than organic social alone.

The downside is that ads can be competitive, costs can rise, and creative (together with the strategy and execution behind it) matters more than ever.

How Can I Help Your Business?

I’ve spoken to many small business owners who feel confused and overwhelmed by social media. Some really don’t like it, but understand that it might be something they need to do to increase the visibility and appeal of their business.

Whether you’re on social media or not, I can tailor a strategy to help you optimise these channels. I can assist with anything from content ideas and captions to platform planning, posting strategy and practical campaign support. I can manage it so that you don’t have to!

I, personally, also enjoy exploring exciting brand collaborations, and developing opportunities with social media influencers.

Why not fill in the form below, and we can chat about whether social media is right for you…and if it is, how I can help you manage and optimise its potential for your business.
