THE PROBLEM
Park’s Edge Bar & Kitchen is a restaurant in Herne Hill, London serving seasonal British menus with light fusion flavours. The much-loved venue also offers an incredible bar menu including cocktails, mocktails and a well-curated selection of rhum.
Park’s Edge Bar & Kitchen had been open for 3 years, but desperately needed to drive greater awareness within the local area. The owners felt that due to their less central location (on a busy road, 4-5 minutes’ walk away from the pretty main village square), many locals were unaware of it or not tempted to walk in. My clients had no idea about the power of SEO work.
WHAT I DID
I employed various marketing strategies to satisfy the client objective.
One of the strategies was SEO Marketing.
My SEO work focused on selecting and optimising the 5 best location-based key phrases for the client’s target area of Herne Hill, South London e.g. Herne Hill Restaurants. I chose other, additional keywords to support my campaign, but focused on these less.
I edited website copy and strategically weaved in the key phrases on-page and off.
I worked across on-page SEO, off-page SEO and technical.
RESULTS
- 214 clicks vs. 28
(+ 664% Clicks) - 5884 impressions vs. 295
(+ 1895% Impressions) - Achieved page 1 listings on Google from page 2 and beyond
